Where is the festival being held?
The Wild Tribe village will be setting up camp in a leafy festival field within the grounds of Stoke Damerel Primary School just a couple of miles from the city centre of Plymouth.
Please note: The festival was originally taking place in Drake's Place Gardens but has been relocated to the grounds of Stoke Damerel Primary School to more comfortably accommodate the aniticipated numbers.
What age groups is the festival suitable for?
We have designed the festival to appeal to a wide family audience. Generally speaking, the activities will be most suitable for children aged 4 - 13 with plenty of opportunities for older children or adults to join in.
Do I need to book tickets in advance?
Advance tickets are offered at discount rates and we encourage you to book before the festival to avoid lengthy queues and the possibility of disappointment if we sell out. If you are going to turn up on the day, please check this website before travelling.
What if it rains?
Don't worry! Many of the activities will be under cover so you can join in the fun come rain or shine!
Is the festival accessible for wheelchairs and buggies?
Yes! The festival village is in a grassed field and is fairly flat. The field can be accessed by a ramp. There are no graveled areas. There will be an outside undercover space to leave buggies if you wish, but we advise that you do not leave valuables.
What should I bring with me?
Sunscreen and a hat. Plus you might find it useful to bring a blanket to sit on and a showerproof coat just in case. It's probably best to dress children in comfortable clothing that doesn't matter if it gets paint splatted, dirty etc. If it's sunny and the mood takes us, there might just be an impromptu water fight with the children so bring spare clothes!
Will refreshments be available?
Yes! There will be a couple of artisan food outlets, speciality teas and a village stall selling tea, coffee, soft drinks and fruit. Please note that food and drink is not included in the ticket price. You are welcome to bring your own picnic.
Are there toilets on site?
Yes! There will be a number of portable toilets (including accessible toilets) and a baby changing area.
Where do we park?
There is limited parking available in the school car park and plenty of free on road parking. We ask that you park considerately.
Can I come and go throughout the day(s)?
Yes! You just need to display your wristband to the festival stewards to gain re-entry.
Can we camp at the festival?
No! This is a daytime and early evening event so there's no camping.
